About the company
Fabulous Gramophone is run by musician Anton Johannes Hejl, who has been experimenting with ONE MIC recording since 1999. Back then, he was looking for a recording setup that would promote certain qualities that he felt was compromised in a traditional recording studio environment.
These efforts have evolved into work as producer/sound engineer as presented at the ONE MIC website.
During Music Management studies (2003-05) Anton Johannes felt an urge to choose a different approach, than what was the norm of the Music Business at the time. The result was the FOUR ROOMS pop-up Lp.
We are proud of what we have achieved so far through the imaginative efforts of everybody involved. If you buy a copy of one of our limited edition vinyl releases, you are participating in this process of experimentation. We welcome feedback from you, since Fabulous Gramophone is indeed a work in progress.
