Fabulous Gramophone is a company that is a work in progress. Our first release was a collaboration between pop-up artist Kristine Suhr and musician/composer Claus Carlsen. The resulting 12" vinyl release is wonderfully different.
The second release presents the artist Knud Odde who is acclaimed for his paintings as well as for his songwriting for the rockgroup Sort Sol. The resulting box containing three 7" singles presents 6 musical portraits in the "Wabi-Sabi" spirit.
The third release is a collaborative effort between Fabulous Gramophone and Buchanan Records, which is so far only available on Cd.
This first-time musical meeting between Poet Peter Laugesen and saxophonist John Tchicai worked effortlessly. The release was nominated for a Danish Music Award 2008.
