"Consul Pepsi & the Sweet Thunder Poetry Parade" compact disc

John Tchicai and Peter Laugesen both come from the city of Århus and have both had remarkable careers. Tchicai went to New York were he recorded with John Coltrane and John Lennon. Laugesen stayed in Århus where he has made a name for himself as a European Beat poet. The two artists met for the first time in "Consul Pepsi & The Sweet Thunder Poetry Parade".

John Tchicai lives in southern France. The music was recorded in a chateau in the mountains.

Anton Johannes Hejl has been recording and producing musicgroups in Denmark and Sweden. Recent projects include recordings with Jakob Bro/Buchanan duo, Pauseland, Lakha Lama, Torben Jensen/Carsten Kær, Hans Sydow.

We have an ambition to work with the medium of recorded sound in a fresh way. We set fire to the creative process by agreeing to follow minimalist principles for recording - a group of musicians surrounding one microphone.

The resulting vinyl releases are pressed in a limited 500 editions.
